Der Barbera von Cantina del Pino ist der stilistische Gegenentwurf zum Dolcetto und vereint kraftvolle Frucht, einen weichen einnehmenden Körper und mollige Samtigkeit. Die Frucht ist dunkel, mit etwas Minztee, Pfefferwürze und Schwarzkirschen, intensiv und blättrig, mürbe und weich. Am Gaumen beginnt er kraftvoll und einnehmend, weich, fast schmelzig und mit balsamischen Anklängen, auch hier dunkle Kirsche und etwas Pflaume, ein unkomplizierter und weicher Wein für eine verregneten Wintertag.
