The humble winemaking couple, Martin and Marlies Abraham, are among South Tyrol’s modern winemakers, producing elegant and complex wines ranging from charming entry-level wines to natural and orange wines. In the vineyard, sustainability is the top priority; in the cellar, a slow, deliberate approach is key to creating impressive wines with individual character, balance, and elegance. While their parents, like most small winemakers in South Tyrol, used to deliver their grapes to the local cooperative, Martin and Marlies decided in 2011 to press and bottle their own wines to give expression to their vision and passion. The wine world is grateful for this—the Abrahams have since won a string of awards with their wines, are welcome guests in the wine press, and are now also part of our selection!
