Our wine of the month for March!
In this joint project, Johannes and Martina, as well as Michael and Maria, enjoy the freedom to make wines that don't quite fit into their respective ranges in terms of style, but which give them – and us – a great deal of pleasure. It's a large playground where the focus is on uncomplicated, easy-drinking wines that are fun to drink.
The Mitzi shines in all its glory and almost seems to want to jump out of the glass. With its intense aroma, it is a true picture-perfect Muscat. It displays jasmine, delicate spicy notes, ripe Williams pear, a hint of pineapple, lemon balm, and a trace of blossom honey—expressive and invigorating, ripe and flattering. On the palate, it is rather lean, with plenty of freshness, an invigorating juiciness, and, of course, lots of fruit. Here again is the Williams pear, elderberry comes through, remains very yellow-fruity, and with its fine acidity, also very lively. An uncomplicated spring and summer wine with a dangerous drinkability! [JB 02/2026]
