Der Gutswein von H.O. Spanier ist eine gelungene Annäherung an eine Eisquelle, die Trauben aus dem Wonnegau wachsen auf Kalkstein und das prägt diesen Riesling in eine puristische helle Ausstrahlung. In der Nase glasklare weiße Früchte, Amalfizitrone, Mirabellen, sowie etwas Malz und eine mineralische, zart rauchige Note nach Gesteinsmehl. Am Gaumen eine saftige bis straffe Textur, wunderbare Aromen von gelben Steinobst, eine präziser Druck von der Säure und einer kühlen Mineralik, guter Grip = gute Länge, die einen wünschen lässt, dass diese Eisquelle noch lange nicht versiegt.
