GermanAuch im Tokaj war 2021er ein etwas kühlerer Jahrgang und so bringt der Hidden Treasures Nr. 1 in diesem Jahr etwas mehr Frisch und Leichtigkeit mit. Eine gewisse Wachsigkeit und ein Hauch Opulenz sind dabei, dazu aber feine zitrische Noten und viel Frische, etwas grüner Apfel und filigrane Blättrigkeit, das Ganze mit einer zarten Rauchigkeit. Am Gaumen mit puristischer Struktur, die Frische ist eindrucksvoll, vibrierend und ziselierend, ein ganz feiner Gerbstoff gibt ihm Tiefe, wieder zitrisch, etwas rauchig und ein kleiner Touch Wildheit, ein wunderbarer Furmint, der sich toll entwickeln wird. Stuart Pigott schreibt: "Cool and quite closed nose of smoke, flint and Amalfi lemon zest. Extremely mineral with delicate wild-herb aromas and restrained citrus notes (also some lemon leaf) on the medium-bodied palate. Very structured, long finish that’s hyper-stony, salty and positively austere, thanks to the fine tannins."
