Der Guts-Riesling von Dönnhoff ist ein geradliniger Einstiegswein. In der Nase helle Birne, Aprikose und Ringlotten, dazu eine zarte Würze und leichte Limettenanklänge. Am Gaumen eine eher kernige Textur, erinnert ein bisschen an oxydierte Apfelschale vom Boskop, schöne Zitrusnoten, minimale Spur Gerbstoff, dazu eine herzhafte Säure und eine zierliche Mineralik im Abgang.
