Aus einem schwierigen, von Frost geprägten Jahr 2019 ist der Au fil des Générations als Familienprojekt der Bornards entstanden. Die Erträge waren teilweise so gering, dass Tony Bornard die Chardonnay-Trauben von verschieden Parzellen verschneiden musste. Die Menge an Wein, die hieraus gekeltert werden konnte, ist winzig, die Qualität aber fantastisch. Im Glas ein intensiver, sehr exotischer Duft nach Papaya in jeglicher Form: frisch aufgeschnitten, getrocknet, kandiert, dazu etwas Ingwer, Amalfi-Zitrone und Flieder. Auf der Zunge scheint der Wein zu tanzen, mit seiner zitrischen, zupackenden Säure setzt er ein klares Statement und klingt leicht hefig aus. [AS 07/2023]
