Matthias Knebels Spätlese aus dem Röttgen bringt schon gut Reife mit, in der Nase getrocknete Aprikosen, Blütenhonig, ein Hauch Kamille und Rosinen (man merkt hier auch schon die ein oder andere Botrytis-Traube), zarte Würze und leicht rauchig. Am Gaumen eine mundfüllende Textur, saftig-weich - ohne üppig zu sein, feine Extraktsüße bei mittlerer Säure, dazu ein Hauch Exotik, baut ganz langsam aber dann mächtig Druck auf, nicht die Säure tragt diese Spätlese sondern die Fruchtessenz.
