Der Königsbacher Ölberg ist eine warme Südlage mit Lehm und Kalkmergel im Unterboden und ergibt regelmäßig sehr dichte Weine. So zeigt sich auch Seckingers Riesling eher wuchtig, ja "ölig" im Glas, in der Nase reife Frucht, Quittengelée, dazu ein zarter Hefetouch und eine gute Phenolik. Am Gaumen ein wunderbares Spiel aus frischer Säure und Traubenschalen, wirkt sehr natürlich und druckvoll, wieder leichter Quitteneinschlag, zieht gut nach hinten und verbleibt - sehr gelungener "Naturwein"!
