Der Poulsard von der Domaine de Saint Pierre kommt aus der Lage Petit Curoulet, die direkt am westlichen Ortsrand von Arbois liegt. Es ist eine kühle Lage, die auf einem kleinen Hochplateau liegt und eine östliche und teilweise auch leicht nördliche Ausrichtung hat. Perfekt für Poulsard, der in warmen Lagen in den letzten Jahren oft mit der sommerlichen Hitze zu kämpfen hat. Der 2022er Petit Curoulet zeigt sich schon jetzt sehr einladend und weich, mit reifer Frucht nach Zwetschge und Blaubeere, dazu Salzmandeln und Maronen, reif und rauchig, etwas Tabak und Malz. Am Gaumen mit kraftvollem Körper, weiche Struktur füllt den Mund aus, dazu ein feines Tannin, wieder etwas malziges, Zwetschenröster, eine dezente Salzigkeit kommt durch, mürbe und einnehmend bleibt er sehr gut hängen.
