Der Whitey von Matthias Warnung ist eine Weißwein-Cuvée aus 40% Grüner Veltliner, 40% Müller Thurgau und 20% Welschriesling mit ungerebelten Trauben auf der Maische vergoren und danach im großen neutralen Holzfass ausgebaut. Unfiltriert und ungeschönt abgefüllt, in der Nase etwas Hefe und Apfelmost, herbe Birne mit floralen Einschlag. Am Gaumen, fruchtige Anklänge und kräftiger Gerbstoff, klasse Phenolik, dezente Säure, bleibt mostig-fruchtig und sehr angenehm am Gaumen. Ein guter Anfang für Naturwein-Einsteiger! [ND 11/2020]
