Im Herzen der zehn Beaujolais Crus gelegen, wachsen in Chiroubles auf Granit und Porphyr die Trauben, die Karim Vionnet verwendet, um diesen reinsortigen Gamay zu keltern.
Schwarzkirschen im Glas, leicht matt, aber durchaus intensiv. Auch in der Nase dann Schwarzkirschen, in der Nähe wächst bestimmt ein blütenschweres Pfingstrosenbeet. Etwas wildes, unterholziges kündigt sich an. Dann: dunkel-süße Beeren, vielleicht die wilden, kleinen Heidelbeeren, intensiv, konzentriert, durchaus körperreich und mit einem stabilen Tanninnetz. Robust und vorsichtig rabiat, etwas wild-ungestüm und gut erzogen zugleich. Wenn Ronja Räubertochter Wein machen würde, täte er so schmecken! [AK Jg. 2022]
