Der Chardonnay von Gerhard Markowitsch wird komplett im Stahltank ausgebaut, damit die Frische und eine fruchtige Sorten-Ausprägung zum Ausdruck kommen. Helles Grüngelb, in der Nase Exotik: grüne Bananen (-blätter), Apfel, Kiwi, Netzmelone, dazu Nuancen von Haselnuss, eine Spur von Limonenschale. Am Gaumen eine glatte Textur, Anklänge von Golden Delicious und Sternfrucht, sehr duftig, etwas Fruchtschmelz macht ihn cremig, die erfrischende Säure kommt erst mit der Zeit und macht ihn sehr harmonisch, etwas nach kandierter Ananas im Nachhall.
