Der Riesling Alte Reben beginnt sehr intensiv mit einer kräutrigen Nase, etwas Koriander, Stachelbeere, reife Ananas, gekochter Zuckermais, viel Stein, eine tolle Komplexität. Am Gaumen gleich eine dichte Salzigkeit und ein guter Druck, an der stoffigen Struktur merkt man die hohe Qualität der alten Weingärten, fast erdige Mineralik, dann kommt eine Kräuterwiese durch und dazu noch etwas rose Grapefruit. Ein kerniger aber ebenso großartiger Riesling, der ein wirklich grandioses Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mitbringt. [GB Jg. 2016]
