Despite their high sugar content, the wines from Manfred Prüm and his daughter Katharina impress with incredible elegance; even the very ripe Spätlese and Auslese wines shine with finesse and a pronounced, lively interplay of sweetness and acidity on the palate. We enjoy J.J.’s wines as an aperitif, with spicy dishes, of course with cheese or dessert, on the patio in the summer, and as a palate cleanser—for example, after wine tastings featuring full-bodied reds.
