Starting with the 2023 vintage, Collective Z will become the Marie Adler Winery. Marie Adler and Christoph Ziegler were the founders of Collective Z; they now run the winery independently, which is why this step was a natural one. As before, they produce pure and vibrant terroir-driven wines in their hometown of Leistadt in the Northern Palatinate. From the very beginning, their goal was to work in a very traditional way—what some might call “old-school”—because they prioritize manual labor and craftsmanship, using as little technology as possible and, of course, no chemicals. On just two hectares, they produce distinctive, lively, and somewhat rustic wines that invite you to drink them, pair them with food, and enjoy a chat with others—as they love to to do in the Palatinate.
