Karim Vionnet hat Weingärten in drei verschiedenen Crus und schafft es, die Typiziät der jeweiligen Lage wunderbar herauszuarbeiten. In der Ortschaft Chenas wachsen die aromatischsten Gamays, mit viel Frucht und seidiger Textur. Also ab ins Glas mit dem 2020er Chénas und sofort verströmt ein intensiver Duft, rote, reife Frucht und kühle Würze kommen sofort durch, Holunderbeeren, Salbei und etwas Cassis, einnehmend und weich. Am Gaumen geht es ebenso fruchtig weiter, erinnert kurz an Kirschsaft, dann packt das feinmaschige Tannin zu, wieder feine Würze und ein ätherischer Hauch, bleibt mit feiner Himbeerfrucht am Gaumen hängen, mürbe und unkompliziert, Merci Karim.
