Description
Die extrem steile und auch kühle Terrassenlage Kalkofen liegt im Spitzer Graben und vereint sauren Orthogneis und basenreiche Amphibolite, der Oberboden besteht aus einem etwas verlehmten Verwitterungsmaterial beider Gesteinstypen. In der Nase gelber Pfirsich, Marillen, ein Hauch von einer Honigmelone, auch tropische Früchte in Richtung Ananas. Am Gaumen eine extraktreiche Textur mit reifem Schmelz, mineralisch ummantelt, präzise Rieslingfrucht mit ganz zartem Gerbstoff, gut integrierte Säure mit einem Touch Grapefruit und etwas Würze im Nachhall.
