»Pet Nat« steht im Französischem für petillant (prickelnd) naturel (natürlich). Das ist eine fast in Vergessenheit geratene Urform der Sektherstellung. Die Trauben werden eingemaischt und spontan vergoren, mitten in der der Gärung wird der Most abgepresst und mit Restsüsse in Flaschen gefüllt, damit die Gärung in der Flasche weitergeht und die Kohlensäure gebunden wird. Die verbliebene Gärhefe wird nicht entfernt (degorgiert), das Ergebnis sind vielschichtige Perl-Weine mit viel Frucht und feinem Hefeton. Pet Nat Volume 1„ aus Chardonnay und Sauvignon Blanc, im Glas dunkelgelb, Naturtrüb wie Apfelsaft, die Nase erinnerd an Apfel, Holunderblüten und Apfelschalen, am Gaumen gute Balance aus Süße und Säure, süffig.
