Der Chardonnay Feldstück von Matthias Warnung ist wie die meisten seiner Weine über 2 Jahre im großen neutralen Holzfass auf der Vollhefe ausgebaut und wurde ungeschönt und unfiltriert abgefüllt. In der Nase Birne, frische Quitten, Kamille und etwas Heu. Am Gaumen eine dezente Phenolik gepaart mit einer feingliedrigen Säure, kein spürbares Holz, wieder Quitte mit einem leichten Hefetouch, im Abgang leicht salzig mit einem zarten Schmelz und ein wenig Babyspeck. Er ist keiner dieser künstlich überladenen, vor Kraft strotzenden Weine. Er ist in jeder Hinsicht in sich stimmig und glänzt durch seine elegante und zugleich filigrane Art. Ein wunderbarer Einstieg in die Welt der Naturweine! [ND Jg. 2017]
