Der Riesling Bundsandstein von Frank John ist im großen Holzfass spontan vergoren, mit anschließendem langen Hefekontakt. In der Nase sehr frisch für den reifen Jahrgang, etwas Grapefruitzeste, florale Anklänge und eine dezente Kräuterwürze, ganz zarter weißer Pfirsich und etwas Heu im Hintergrund. Am Gaumen zuerst etwas weich und schmelzig, wird dann aber gleich deutlich straffer, die zarte Mineralik und die sehr fein ziselierte Säure verleihen ihm viel Druck. Sehr harmonischer und ausdrucksstrarker Riesling der durch seine komplexität und feinnervigkeit glänzt. [CB Jg. 2013]
