Description
Der Grüne Veltliner Neuland ist eigentlich kein "Neuland" mehr für Herbert Zillinger, sonder ein gelungener leichter Wein mit nur 11 Vol. % Alkohol, der im Stahl ausgebaut wurde. In der Nase mit leicht ätherisch-kräutrigen Noten (Thymian), Heuwiese und florale Anklänge nach Flieder, dazu eine leicht herbe Birnenschale, gewinnt mit Luft enorm dazu. Auch am Gaumen -typisch Zillinger- leicht mostig, dezent herbe Textur, mit nur zarter Säure, begleitet mit ein wenig Schmelz, dann macht sich angenehm ein Boskop-Apfel breit, dazu Grapefruitzeste, wieder kräutrige Nuancen, zarte Phenolik, gut geerdet, keinerlei kitschige Nuancen (wie oft bei Jungweinen) - ein ausgewogener und schon erwachsener Veltliner.
