Ein klassischer St. Magdalena, heißt 85% Vernatsch mit etwas Lagrein und anderen Sorten. Extrem niedriger Ertrag (20hl) aus einer alten Pergelanlage auf Porphyrboden, 2 Jahre im großen neutralen Holzfass ausgebaut mit daran anschließender 20-monatigen Flaschenreife. Helles Rubinrot, intensive Nase nach Feigen, Orangenzeste, Ribiselsirup, Veilchen, aber auch Nuancen von Tinte und Schlehen, blättrig, man riecht das alte Holzfass förmlich. Am Gaumen eine schlanke und saftige Textur, zarter Gerbstoff, elegant fruchtig und trotz der langen Holzlagerung erfrischend traubig, anregende Säure, in sich ruhend - ein sehr eigenständiger Charakter.
