Dieser Blaufränkisch stammt von über 40-jährigen von der Riede Hochäcker mit regionstypischem Lehmboden. Mittleres Rubingranat mit dunklem Kern, in der Nase intensiv und kühl, feine Waldbeeren, etwas Minze, Schwarzkirsche, Eukalyptus, getrocknetes Fleisch und ein zarter Zitruston. Am Gaumen dicht und einnehmend, unfiltriert natürlich, auch etwas erdig mit einer straffen Säure, dazu aber auch eine charmante Fruchtsüße und ein sehr mürbes Tannin, praktisch kein Holz, Zwetschge, etwas rote Beete und Tannennadeln, bleibt sehr gut haften. Ein massiver Blaufränker! [GB 01/2018]
