Description

Die Reben für diesen Pinot Noir wurden 1989 von Paul Achs in kühleren kalkhaltigen Lagen rund um Gols ausgepflanzt, der eher finessenreiche Wein wird in 60% neuen Barriques mit 300 Liter und 500 Liter ausgebaut und kommt 2 Jahre später in den Handel. Helles Rubingranat, breiterer Wasserrand, in der Nase Zwetschgenfrucht, feine balsamische Nuancen, Waldboden, auch florale Noten und etwas Zartbitterschokolade, minimale Animalik. Am Gaumen saftige Weichselfrucht, präsentes aber gut integriertes Tannin, auch etwas Röstaromen kommen durch, schönes Frucht-Spiel, eher drahtige Struktur, bleibt gut haften, auch im Nachhall dunkle Schokolade.
