Der Karambolage ist in jedem Jahr ein komplett anderer Wein und mit dem 2021er Jahrgang ist es eine Cuvée aus Chardonnay, Elbling und einem kleinen Anteil Pinot Noir. Der Pinot Noir wurde dabei als Rotwein ausgebaut und zwei Wochen auf der Maische vergoren, quasi als Versuch ob es mit der Sorte in diesem Jahr klappt. Das Ergebniss hat Jonas dann nicht ausgereicht um die Sorte separat auzubauen und hat es mit dem direkt gepressten Chardonnay und Elbling verschnitten.
Der 2021er Karambolage ist karg und straff, mit viel Zug, filigraner Frucht und animierender Säure, eine dezente Frucht kommt durch, etwas Zitrus vom Chardonnay, dazu etwas pilziges vom Pinot Noir, minimalistisch und mit fordernder Struktur. [CB 01/2023]
