Chardonnay steht auf dem Etikett und das wirkt auch noch recht verspielt, allerdings handelt es sich beim Cuvée Marguerite um einen Melon à Queue Rouge von 120 Jahre alten Reben, die auf kargstem Kalkstein-Terroir stehen. Dieser Wein ist ein Monument, an Dichte und Spannung kaum zu übertreffen, filigran, vibrierend und mit unfassbarer Mineralik. Er spielt gleichermaßen mit oxidativen, sowie mit reduktiven Noten, ist kraftvoll und kompakt und doch auch filigran und puristisch, ein Meisterwerk das kaum zu übertreffen ist an Länge und Tiefe. Ganz großer Stoff vom Meister aus Rotalier!
