Die Trauben für diesen Pinot Nero wachsen auf mittleren, kalkreichen und schottrige Lehmböden auf ca. 350 - 450 m Meereshöhe. Mittleres Kaminrot, in der Nase intensive, ätherische Noten nach Waldbeeren, Amarenakirsche, Erdbeerkonfit, Heidlebeeren und ein Anflug von nassem Eichenholz. Am Gaumen eine satte Textur, man spürt die südliche Wärme, viel Extraktsüsse (ein Hauch von Rotweinlikör), dann setzt aber eine gute Säure ein und gibt dem Bluburgunder ein frisches und leicht blättriges Finish, mit etas Hisbiskus in Nachhall.
