Rund um das Weingut gelegen ist der Bürgstadter Berg. Im Burgund würde man diesen wohl als 1er Cru bezeichnen. Er prägt mit seinen Buntsandsteinverwitterungsböden maßgeblich die Charakteristik der Fürst'schen Rotweine. In Der Nase Walderdbeeren, Moos, feuchtes Unterholz, Graphit und zart ätherische Noten (ein wenig "nasser Festzen"). Am Gaumen beginnend ein zarte Fruchtsüsse mit einem feinen Schmelz, bevor eine kräftige Säure einsetzt, dazu leichte Feuerstein Nuancen, mittleres Tannin, sehr harmonisch und gute Länge.
