Riesling Schwarzer Herrgott, so heißt das zweite Große Gewächs von Battenfeld-Spanier. In der Nase mit feinem Duft nach Grapefruitzeste, etwas Orange, reifes Steinobst und einer leichten Würze. Am Gaumen ist anfangs der karge Kalkboden spürbar, dann kommt die lebendige Säure durch, sehr saftig, wieder orange Frucht, hinten raus wird der Wein weicher, und bekommt einen cremigen Touch, bleibt lange und dicht am Gaumen, mit einer intensiven Stoffigkeit.
