Blaufränkisch Alter Berg 2012
Description
Dark ruby-garnet colour with an opaque core, plus a touch of violet. Aromas of fine fruit led by blackberry and a floral note, some licorice and hibiscus, minerals and mandarin, multifaceted varietal character. The palate is juicy with a cool fruit expression notes of cherry jam and tannins that give good length to the wine, also soft tobacco spice on the finish, along with dark berries and plums. Fantastic length with a fine citrus touch. Very good development potential.
