Die Cuvée Simonroth besteht aus Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon und Lemberger und wird circa zur Hälfte in neuen 300 Liter Fässern ausgebaut. In der Nase sehr klar und fein, charmante und offene Frucht, Weichsel, etwas Cranberry und frische Himbeere, der Merlot dominiert die Nase mit seiner zugänglichen Art. Auch am Gaumen sehr feingliedrig und offen, saftig und frisch, dezentes Tannin, wieder viel Frucht, Himbeere und Kirsche, dazu eine dezente Würze, stimmig und mit toller Harmonie. [CB 11/2017]
