Description

Horizont heißt der Mittelbau, Herbert Zillingers Beitrag zur vinophilen Horizonterweiterung. Elegant und herzhaft, eigentlich klassisch! Bei ihm bekommt der Most etwas Luft und darf oxydieren, dass macht u.a. den Gerbstoff weicher. In der Nase Traubengelée, gelber Apfel, Marillen, auch etwas nach Heublumen und eine Brise getrockneter Kräuter, ich meine Liebstöckl. Am Gaumen eine vielschichtige Struktur, ein UR-Wein mit mostiger Textur, dezenter Säure, kein Pfefferl aber eine intensive Kräuterwürze, dabei saftig und druckvoll, Speckbirne mit etwas Hagebutte und Kumquats, sehr stimmiger Veltliner mit guter Länge. Großer Trinkspaß, klebt förmlich auf der Zunge! [GB 06/2021]
