Dieser Cabernet Sauvignon kommt von Kalkschotterböden aus Hanglagen rund um Kurtatsch, ist im Stahl vergoren und danach über 8 Monate im großen und kleinen Holzfass ausgebaut. Sattes Rubingranat, interessante Nase nach Brombeergelee, schwarzen Kirschen, Johannisbeerblätter, dunklem Brot, rotem Pfeffer und ein Hauch Feigenkaffee. Am Gaumen eine elegante Textur, mit guter Balance zwischen Frucht und Gerbstoffen, wirkt dabei fast schlank (trotz 14 vol.% Alk.), leicht erdig, saftiges Tannin, zartes Cassis im Nachhall.
