Ein Nachbar der berühmteren Riede Lamm, ebenfalls eine kalkhaltige Lage am Fuße des Heiligenstein bzw. Gaisberges mit Löss und Gneis-Verwitterungsböden. Mittleres Grüngelb, sehr klassische Veltliner-Nase Melone: Apfel, Mirabellen, daneben Apfelblüten und rosa Pfeffer, ganz leichte Hefe-Reduktion. Am Gaumen eine saftige Textur mit dezenter Säure, viel Schmelz (ohne üppig zu sein), zart tabakig, leichte Orangenzeste, baut sehr guten Druck auf, wie man schmeckt - auch Löss kann Mineralität transportieren, und schöne Pfefferwürze sowieso, sehr harmonisch und lang.
