Chardonnay is grown successfully over an area of 198,000 hectares in all countries and continents and is the basis for many top wines. In Germany it was admitted in 1991, also in Austria, the Chardonnay won only since that time on importance.

"Indigene" beziehlt sich hier auf die Art wie mit spontanen wilden Hefen die zweite Gärung eingeleitet wurde, und zwar ohne Reinzuchthefen & Zucker sondern durch Zusatz von süßem Traubenmost des Folgejahres. In der Nase sehr kühle und "steinige" Aromatik, helle Frucht, dazu feine florale Noten, etwas Birne, Lavendel und Zitrus. Am Gaumen eine zarte Perlage, runde -fast füllige- Textur mit leichter Fruchtsüsse, die Säure ist aber da und macht ihn frisch, sehr angenehme Aromatik, feine Struktur, wieder helle Birne und eine feine Textur zum Abgang hin.
