Der Mash Pitt von Gerhard Pittnauer -eine Cuvee aus Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner und Sauvignon Blanc- zeigt sich natürtrüb in einem satten, dunklen Goldgelb. Reduktiver Beginn, in der Nase viel Hefe und Schale, gelber Pfirsich, Blütenhonig und ein Hauch orientalischer Gewürze wie Kardamom und Zimt, mit Luft kommt auch etwas reife Quitte und Ananas dazu, tolle Komplexität. Am Gaumen eine eher opulente, füllige Textur, etwas Apfelkompott und Orangenschale mit leichter Kräuterwürze, Heu, rauchig-mineralisch mit einer Spur Salz und sehr ausgeprägter Phenolik. Ein gelungener Orangewein mit großer Vielschichtigkeit! [LA 04/2024]
