Der Welschriesling Feldstück wird -wie alle Weine von Matthias Warnung- über zwei Jahre im großen neutralen Holzfaß auf der Vollhefe ausgebaut, diese lange Zeit im alten Gewölbekeller macht den Wein tiefgründig und gelassen. In der Nase eher zurückhaltend, zart kräutrig, leichte Zitrusfrucht und ein bisschen Rauch. Am Gaumen eine schmale Textur, von der Sorte her schon wenig Extrakt, durch den Ausbau nur eine minimalistische Primärfrucht, trotzdem sehr saftig, ruhig strömend, auch fordernd, verlangt die ganze Aufmerksamkeit - geben Sie ihn sie, es lohnt sich.
