Der Weißburgunder Gutswein von Schäfer-Fröhlich wird zu etwas mehr als der Hälfte im Stahltank, der Rest in Stückfässern bzw. gebrauchten Barriques ausgebaut. Im 2016er Jahr ist die Nase eher kühl und von grüner Ausprägung, Stachelbeere und Grüne Birne, dazu auch Kräuter und etwas vegetabile Noten. Am Gaumen knackig, leicht und belebend, dazu eine dezente rauchige Mineralik, die hinten raus in eine leichte Cremigkeit über geht. [CB 06/2017]
