Der Weißburgunder Muschelkalk ist der Einstieg bei den Burgundern am Weingut Knoll. In der Nase mit rauchigem Beginn, kommt insgesamt aber sehr exotisch daher: Guave und Papaya klingen an, Ananas, etwas Melone rundet das Bild ab. Am Gaumen viel weichgepolsterter Schmelz, sehr saftig, weiche Säure, eher an Birne als an Zitrone erinnernd, bleibt weich und süffig im Abgang. Für alle Weinfreunde, die mal wenig(er) Säure haben wollen! [GB 12/2017]
