Der Weißburgunder von Battenfeld-Spanier wird zum großen Teil im Stahltank ausgebaut, die Trauben hierfür stammen aus dem Wonnegau. Die Nase ist durchaus expressiv und fruchtbetont, ein klassisches Weißburgunder Bouquet, Hellgelbe Früchte, Steinobst, etwas Birne, Quitte und Apfel kombiniert mit feiner Würze und etwas Zitrone. Am Gaumen geradlinig, mit frischer Säure und zartem Schmelz, die Aromatik bleibt ähnlich, helles Steinobst, etwas Zitrone gut balanciert und mit ungemeinem Trinkfluss! [ND 04/2023]
