Ein mächtiger Orange-Gewürztraminer aus der Stajerska Slovenija (Slowenische Steiermark) mit semi-interzellulärer Gärung und 30-monatigem Ausbau im 600 Liter Fass. Helle Bernsteinfarbe vom Maischekontakt, in der Nase Maracuja, Minze, Karamell, Kräuter, reife Pflaumen, dazu eine ausgeprägte Phenolik und ätherische Nuancen. Am Gaumen eine -für diesen Ausbau- typische Textur, nicht üppig und doch voller Kraft, nur wenig vordergründiges Tannin, wieder Karamellnoten, viel Würze von der Sorte, hält sich ewig. Wirkt für 14,5 Umdrehungen sogar filigran, passt perfekt als Aperitif, ganz klassisch zur Gänseleber oder zu asiatisch inspirierten Speisen. [GB 08/2018]
