Description

Der Sauvignion Blanc Reserve von Gesine Roll wurde spontan vergoren und 18 Monate auf der Vollhefe im kleinen neuen Holz ausgebaut und zählt eher zu den Opulenteren seiner Art. In der Nase Aromen von Stachelbeeren, Orangenzesten und eine feine Rauchnote. Am Gaumen kommt ein zarter Schmelz hinzu der von exotischen Südfrüchten wie Papaya, Mango, und Maracuja begleitet wird. James Suckling schreibt: "What a delicate smoky nose this concentrated and finely etched sauvignon blanc has. Great chalky minerality on the highly structured palate. So much power and drive at the very long, crisp finish where you only feel a touch of oak. From a high-altitude vineyard with limestone soil, mostly vinified in 500 liter oak casks. Drink or hold."
