Eine typische fränkische Cuvée aus Spätburgunder, Dornfelder und Domina, die ganzen Trauben werden direkt gepresst, im großen Holzfass vergoren und über 9 Monate darin auf der Hefe ausgebaut. Naturtrüb mit hellem Kaminrot, intensive Nase nach Himbeermark, Roten Johannisbeeren, Zitronenzeste, rauchiger Kalk, wird mit Luft immer straffer und anspruchsvoller. Am Gaumen mit einer kernigen Textur, extraktstark, die Säure gut im Spiel, dazu eine zarte Reduktion, etwas nach Hefezopf, mit der Zeit spürt man den Gerbstoff, der Grip nimmt, getragen von guter Säure und endet mit einer dezenten Mineralik, ausdrucksstark und herb im Nachhall.
