Der Riesling von Wittmann stammt aus den Toplagen Morstein und Brunnenhäuschen und zeigt die typische Kalksteinmineralik von Westhofen. In der Nase eine dezente Aromatik, Stachelbeeren, Ananas, Lemongras, feine Kräuternoten und zart rauchige Nuancen. Am Gaumen füllig und kernig zugleich, mit mürber Struktur und feiner Kalk-Mineralik, lebendige Säure, etwas weiße Johannisbeeren und reifes Steinobst, bleibt sehr stimmig und lang. [GB Jg. 2016]
