Ein pures und klares Kabinett ist der Riesling Rotschiefer von Van Volxem. In der Nase leicht rauchig-speckig, etwas Birne und Steinobst, der Gaume ist sehr geschmeidig, leichte Fruchtsüße kommt hin und wieder durch, feines Säurespiel und etwas herbe Birnenschale, sehr ausgewogene Süße und ein erdiger Touch im Abgang.
