Frisch geöffnet kommt der Gutsrieslings von Knewitz karg, rauchig und kühl rüber, mit etwas Luft ändert sich das Bild aber schnell. In der Nase Pfirsich, Mango, Grapefruit, dazu ein Hauch Zitronenmelisse, auch reife Birne und etwas Limette. Am Gaumen drahtige und doch mürbe Textur, zarter Kreidetouch, kalkige Rauchigkeit vom Boden kommt durch, Limettenzeste und Grapefruit, eine Exotik mit charmanter Cremigkeit, zum Schluß aber gibt die sehr saftige Säure den Ton an, erfrischend und lang.
