Der Riesling Bundsandstein von Frank John ist im großen Holzfass spontan vergoren, mit anschließendem langen Hefekontakt. Ausgefallene Nase mit gelbem Pfirsich, etwas Grapefruitzeste, vegetale Noten, leicht krautig, rauchig-kalkig und etwas Heu im Hintergrund. Am Gaumen mit einer zupackenden Struktur, hohe Mineralik, daneben aber auch schmelzig, sehr saubere gelbe Rieslingfrucht, die fein ziselierte Säure geht ins Salzige über, guter Druck und tolle Länge. Ein ausdrucksstarker Riesling der mit Komplexität und Mineralik glänzt. [GB Jg. 2014]
