Die Lage Sankt Paul kommt hier schon etwas kraftvoller und reifer aus dem Glas, mehr Frucht, mehr Stoff, dunkler und rauchiger, eine komplett andere Nase als der Kammerberg obwohl die Lagen nur einen Steinwurf voneinander entfernt sind, reife Zwetschge, etwas Heidelbeere und Eukalyptus, wirkt fast vulkanisch. Am Gaumen mit brutalem Zug, kernige Säure und zupackendes Tannin, nochmal deutlich stoffiger, voller und offener mit viel Frucht, aber auch hartem Tannin, Himbeere und Cassis, karg und mit frischer Kirsche, präzise und komplex. Die Anlangen sind grandios, braucht aber durchaus noch Zeit um alles auch zeigen zu können. [Jg. 2015 CB 09/2018]
