Die Reben für diesen Pinot Noir wurden 1989 von Paul Achs in kühleren Lagen rund um Gols ausgepflanzt, Kalkuntergrund sorgt für die gewünschte Finesse. Helles Rubingranat, breiterer Wasserrand, in der Nase Zwetschkenfrucht, feine balsamische Nuancen, auch florale Noten etwas Lakritze und Zartbitterschokolade. Am Gaumen saftige Weichselfrucht, präsentes aber gut integriertes Tannin, etwas Röstaromen kommen durch, schönes Frucht-Spiel, eher drahtige Struktur, bleibt gut haften, auch im Nachhall dunkle Schokolade.
